The existing church building has required much renovation - not just redecoration, but a complete workover! Much of the work has been carried out by Danny Neen, who leads the church planting team at Woodbank Evangelical Church, Whitehaven, Cumbria. Danny and Edith, his wife, have worked there full-time since March 2004. In October 2007, the team grew when Sammy Gilchrist joined them. He spends much of his time working with people with substance abuse problems.

The work on the Woodbank Estate has concentrated on building up relationships with the people who live there.

A Family Service is held each Sunday, starting at 10.30am. In the evening, there is a Communion and Bible teaching time at 5.45pm.

On Mondays, at 12 noon to 1.30pm there is a Luncheon Club for the over 50's.
