Inverbervie, Aberdeenshire

Ken and Vee Dickson live in the small coastal town of Inverbervie, 25 miles south of Aberdeen in North East Scotland.

In 2001, the Lord clearly planted into our hearts that He was going to do a ‘new thing’ in the community, and so we began a huge journey of faith which resulted in the opening of The Living Rooms Christian Centre in July 2007.

Our vision is to reach out to the community with the love of God and the message of forgiveness, life and hope that we have in Jesus Christ. Another important aspect of our serving the Lord here is to unite, strengthen and build up Christians in their faith. 

In God’s amazing provision of The Living Rooms we now have a modern building which has become a place where people are able to find friendship, love and acceptance.

At the heart of the ministry is the coffee shop which has enabled us to build friendships with many families, and from this is flowing many opportunities to witness – either one to one, at Coffee Shop Church which is aimed particularly at families, or other one off events.

The Lord continues to challenge us to ‘think out of the box’ and it is exciting to see Him in action as He is impacting the lives of so many un-churched people!

Our passion is to see the Lord build his church in Inverbervie!
